Fast & Easy Method of Filling Non-Consecutive Cells in Excel

You may have tried to copy a  group of selected non-consecutive cells and Excel inform you that it can't use this command with a multiple selection. There is a solution to this problem.
 
  1. Select the first cell
     
  2. Press and continue hold down the Ctrl key
     
  3. Select additional cells
     
  4. Release Ctrl key

  1. Type in a selected cell.
     
  2. Press Ctrl + Enter. All selected cells will be filled with same entry.
     


The Ctrl + Enter will also work with consecutive cells. After selecting cells, type in entry in a cell and press Ctrl + Enter and cells will be filled with same entry.
